Mobile VoIP

The Mobile VoIP solution allows providers to offer mobile VoIP calling facilities to their end customers. A range of flexible implementations of this product are offered to cater to various end user requirements. This product is integrated into the SARC control panel, allowing providers to sell mobile VoIP calling accounts to their end customers at their own customized rates in their respective local currencies. This solution operates in all countries, including VoIP regulated regions.

The two main implementations of this solution offered to the provider are via GosSIP Mobile and Nokia SIP.

GosSIP Mobile

GosSIP Mobile is a custom built mobile VoIP application that operates on a range of supported mobile handsets including Symbian, Blackberry & iPhone. It allows the provider’s end customers to login with their Mobile VoIP calling accounts and initial VoIP calls via their local 3G/GPRS network or any available authorized WiFi access points.

Nokia SIP

The Nokia SIP implementation of the Mobile VoIP solution allows calling via the built-in SIP calling feature on selected Nokia handsets. This option allows users to place VoIP calls via the 3G networks or WiFi access points. GPRS networks are not support under Nokia SIP. The provider has the options of configuring the Nokia SIP settings via two methods:

 

 

Desk2phone

Desk2Phone is about the most important of the voip services we offer. This service provides free to cheap calls to local and international destinations through the use of Softphones such as X-Lite or Webdial. This product functions over a minimum bandwidth of 56kbps and has provision to pass calls via blocked ISP networks. There are 3 variations of this service:

  • PC2PC
  • PC2Phone
  • Web2Phone

PC2PC:

This is the basic service everyone expects to get and it's free. this service enables End Users to make voip calls from one PC to another.

PC2Phone:

This allows users to make calls directly from their desktop by downloading and installing the dialer from our website. PC2Phone is particularly designed to be used in cyber cafes and by home/office users who have their own PC with internet connectivity.

Web2Phone:

This offers the same solution as PC2Phone, except no dialer download will be required since the dialer is embedded in our website. This will allow users to login and make calls via the website - ideal for users away from home/office and on travel.

At the moment Desk2Phone Services are still restricted with the use of headsets and the Webdialer, but we hope that as we begin the rollout of the new Intel 600SM PCI Phone Adapter, the end user experience will get better. Desk2Phone is curently available to Agents and Resellers. For more details, contact your Business Manager.

How to apply for Desk2Phone Services.

In order to become one of our Agents, we require that you do the following:

Complete the application form below to apply.
As soon as your application is approved, you will need to pay a one-off Agent Fee of $50 for Desk2Phone Services.
Once your agent account has been setup, we require a minimum deposit of $100 from which credit top-up for your customers will be deducted.

 

 

Device2phone

Device 2 phone solution (SIP Device) is the best yet economy solution for small and medium businesses, and for customers who do not yet have a PBX.

All of your voice and data features are hosted on our system. Simply plug your voip phone into the wall, your computer into your phone and you're connected to our state of the art networks. At a much lower cost than you ever think.

Almost any VoIP device supporting the SIP protocol can be used, and configurations for the most common devices such as Linksys PAP2 can be done automatically via remote provisioning. This product is ideal for providers looking to offer services to cyber cafes, callshops and corporate clients.

Configuration

Configuration of these devices can be done manually or, for selected devices, automatically. Simple and easy to follow manuals are available for the most common devices. For devices such as the Linksys PAP2 (the most widely used end customer VoIP device), automated remote configuration is available, and the device can be configured with the click of a button via a simple provisioning interface.

Connectivity

This product allows calling via any internet connection above a speed of 56kbs with minimal packet loss. Minimum recommended connection is a stable 128kbps ADSL for a device with two ports. Solutions are for calling behind VoIP blocked ISPs are available for providers offering services to customers in such regions.

Supported Devices

Devices supporting SIP calling and G.723 and G.729 codecs are supported. Branded and better known devices are recommended for better quality of service.
